about us

More than a meal.
Home on a plate.

Fundel African Spot was built on a simple idea: the food we grew up on deserves a proper home. A taste of home away from home.

The pots that fed whole compounds. The soups that simmered all afternoon. The meat that somehow disappeared before it reached the table. That's the food we cook, every single day, for anyone who misses it, loves it, or is about to taste it for the first time.

Our kitchen runs on tradition, not shortcuts. Soups are built layer by layer, stews get the time they need, and every plate goes out generous. Whether it's a quick plate of jollof on your lunch break or poundo and egusi on a slow Saturday, you get the same care and the same generous portions.

Today that home has wheels: the Fundel truck. Look for the brown and orange, follow the smell of smoke and walk up to the window.

And because good food is always better shared, we take that same kitchen to your biggest days: weddings, birthdays, naming ceremonies, office parties and everything in between.
