Privacy

The short version: we only collect what you send us in the catering enquiry form, we use it to reply to you, and we never sell it.

Last updated: October 2026

Fundel African Spot ("Fundel", "we") runs this website. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • The catering enquiry form. Your name and phone or WhatsApp number, plus anything else you choose to add: email address, event type, date, number of guests, venue, service style and your message.
  • Nothing else about you. There are no accounts, no online ordering and no payments on this site. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers, and the site itself doesn't set cookies.
  • If you close the notice banner, your browser remembers that for the rest of your visit. That stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
  • Like any website, our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and put together a quote, by phone, WhatsApp or email.
  • We don't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to.
  • We never sell or rent your information.

Who handles it for us

  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Resend delivers the enquiry form to our inbox by email. Enquiries aren't stored on the website.
  • Zoho Mail hosts our email inboxes.
  • The map on the Find us page and the "Get directions" link are provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when the map loads.
  • If you choose to send your enquiry on WhatsApp, it's sent through WhatsApp. Links to Instagram, TikTok and Facebook take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to plan and cater your event and for our own records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just get in touch using the details below.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
